24v cordless drill safety at at its greatest

A power drill is not a complicated tool. But with most power tools, safety needs to be respected.

1. As a general thought, always make sure your work is clamped down properly. Having a piece of metal or wood kick out and the drill bit cutting in to your leg would not be a happy time.
2. Don’t wear long sleeves or loose clothing when working. If you are using a 24v cordless drill, a small piece of clothing caught in the drill bit would wind up clothing extremely fast.
3. Don’t push the electric drill to drill. Instead, let the machine do its job. This goes for sanding as well.
4. You should always start off very slow and work up to a faster speed. Starting off quickly is only going to have the drill bit dance around and end up elsewhere.
