To provide the highest level of safety for our citizens our country hires only the best individuals for law enforment. There are a lot of demands imposed upon police officers.

The police officer careers training requirements have been increased. They must display athleticism. They must display intelligence and highly advanced problem solving expertise.

Those are your primary stipulations. The demands depend on country and district. A degree in criminal justice or bachelors degree is necessary.

Almost all are required to possess a minimum of a two year degree in law or criminal justice. Someone with a four year degree can work as a state or federal law enforcement officer. You also must be at least twenty years of age and a US citizen. Acquiring bilingual standings will be the most advantageous.

The police officer hopefuls must know that they will go through a battery of tests before being hired onto a force. Candidates must successfully pass all examinations to be considered for police officer careers. The examination process includes a physical, written, psychological and medical test.

The police force is a wonderful and satisfying employment. You must be cut out for this work.
